Skipjack Conservatory Magazine

This magazine spread assignment was completed in my Intro to Graphic Design class at JMU. The prompt was to create a sample magazine mimicking National Geographic to advocate for an endangered species. This was my introduction to InDesign and helped me learn a lot about typography and page organization. We used filler text to focus on making a successful layout. Once the tuna illustration was fully developed, I then worked to create a cover and two spreads. I used relevant information about the skipjack tuna and inserted photos to create a pleasing layout.
